ALL SGTS
There will be a Staff Sergeant Promotion test coming up soon. Probably in October after the End-of-Years. This is because there will be a Station Inspector interview in February next year. And we need to hold on to the Staff Sergeant rank for at least 4 months before we can get promoted to the next rank.

Those who did NOT go for PK, ATC and Homefront
Please take not that you are to go for the courses if you have not attended. Especially the sergeants. These badges are compulsory for the application for SPF badge. And once you get your SPF badge, you will receive your COLOURS Award.

People involved in the PYA

We got to start on our PYA project soon. And we have sent Wei Kee and Sian Ching to go for the patrolling trip with the Hougang Neighbourhood Police Post. When they come back, they are going to share with us about their observations and from there, we brainstorm on what we want to do. Probably posters. It's faster. So it won't take up the time we need for our studies. Maybe use photoshop to design a few types of posters then we go and photocopy. After the PYA project, we have to work with Mrs Rajah to help the Sec 2s to start their CSSP project. Mrs Goh doesn't want the whole squad to be involved. About 10 people max.

Hello babies =)

You have already taken over the unit for about 3 months plus and I hope you all can cope studies and npcc and other activities well. Help one another in studies too. Indeed, you might have taken over but you might not have the full authority yet and I know you all don't like the feeling of sec4 coming back and stuff. But still, they are your seniors (and ya la, you all can't do much also. so just bear with it) Next year, you all will have the full authority BUT please do not abuse it yeah? So in the mean time, learn as much as you can from the seniors first and see what you can learn and what you shouldn't learn (ie. to do in front of juniors). Then when you have the full authority already, practice what you have learnt.

I have spoken to some of you. About three years together, you should know certain people's temperament and what you should do when someone is pissed or having mood swing or whatever. For what I know, you all still don't know each other that well but I know, yes, you all have bonded alone. I can see la, I got eyes. Haha. Anyway, yep. A lot more to improve, ya?

I'll just give one example about myself la. Erm, when I'm angry or pissed with certain things or people, my squadmates will make me laugh. Depending on my extend of pissed la. If I'm super duper pissed, they need to do very very very very very very very stupid and funny actions to make me smile. But I'll 偷笑 (smile secretly), then they know I'm okay already. But sometimes, all they have to do is to poke me and make me run around like some lunatic and I'm fine already. Yeah, hope you all get the gist of what I wanted to say.

After the National Day Parade, trainings will be proper for about a few weeks only (I guess) cause you all have to prepare for End-of-Year Exams (and I have to prepare my promotional exams too =X). I hope your passion and commitment for npcc will not die off during the period where you all have exams and holidays. And I don't want to hear or see anyone retaining okay? Work hard for your studies. Your ultimate aim is to get into a good junior college or a good course in polytechnic or a good course in a good ITE. So study hard, but your cca points are important too! Cause it helps in deducting certain points and it shows how active you are. Good resume in the future. All in all, everything is important, it's just how you manage your time and how you balance studies, cca, etc and the list goes on when you grow older.

There are some things that I hope you all will take note.
1. DON'T order your squadmates, DO say PLEASE and THANK YOU to them when you need their help (they are not your maids!)
2. Watch whatever you say now cause you all are leaders. You have to be responsible for whatever you say.
3. Be sensitive to your squadmates' feeling. Like the way you talk to each other, it hurts sometimes.
4. Always look out for one another, don't leave anyone out.

Yeah, I think I should stop here already. If not, you all will be saying that I'm so naggy again. Feel free to come to me if you people need any help k? Take care, babies =)
